Datenschutzerklärung
How this website handles personal data, and what rights you have over it. Written in English because that is the language the site is served in; the German original prevails in case of dispute.
1. Who is responsible
Euroline GmbH, Werkstrasse 4, 28857 Syke, Germany. Telephone +49 4242 1680692, email [email protected].
We have not appointed a separate data protection officer. Address any question about your data to the contact above.
2. When you send a quotation request
The form on the contact page asks for your company, your name, your email address and what you need. Country, business type and destination port are optional and only help us quote accurately. We also record the IP address the request came from and your browser's user-agent string, which is how we keep automated submissions out of the inbox.
We use all of it to prepare and send your quotation, and for nothing else. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract — and, for the anti-abuse fields, Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in a usable inbox.
Your enquiry is stored on our server and a copy is emailed to our office. We keep it for as long as needed to answer you and to meet the commercial and tax record-keeping periods German law imposes on us, then delete it.
3. Cookies
This site sets one cookie, and only once you open the contact page. It holds a session identifier used to carry a security token that proves a submitted form came from this site. It contains nothing about you, it is not used to recognise you on a return visit, and it expires when you close your browser. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind on this website, which is why you are not being asked to consent to any.
4. Server logs
Our web server records the usual technical information for each request — address, time, page requested, referrer, user-agent. It is used to keep the site running and secure, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and is not combined with anything else.
5. Fonts
The site's typefaces are currently loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore requests them from Google's servers, which means your IP address reaches Google when a page loads. We are moving these files onto our own server so that no such request is made.
6. Links to other sites
We link to our brand sites and to WhatsApp. Once you follow one of those links you are on somebody else's site, under their privacy notice, not ours.
7. Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to our processing it, and ask for it in a portable form (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Write to [email protected] and we will answer.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. For a company in Lower Saxony that is Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen.
8. Changes
We update this notice when the site changes. This version is current as of September 2026.
